The Power Of The Force toy line was initiated in July of 1995 and continued for five years until 2000. The initial figures were notably robust and muscular, mirroring the Hollywood trend of the time, yet the collection garnered positive reception from collectors. Star Wars enthusiasts globally were delighted to see the continuation of the cherished 3.75\" action figure series from their youth.

Despite Hasbro, Inc.\'s acquisition of theTonka Corporation, which encompassed Kenner Products and Parker Brothers, in 1991, the Kenner logo was retained on the packaging until the Episode 1 toy line emerged in 1999.

The orange carded The Power Of The Force series debuted in July of 1995 with nine Star Wars characters, including Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, C-3PO, R2-D2, Obi-Wan (Ben) Kenobi, Stormtrooper, Han Solo, Chewbacca, and Princess Leia Organa.

The subsequent assortment of figures was unveiled in February of 1996, and by the year’s end, the orange carded collection had expanded to include 26 single cards, alongside variations. In 1995, while only nine Star Wars characters were released, Hasbro also introduced five vehicles, comprising the Millennium Falcon, AT-ST, Tie Fighter, X-Wing Fighter, and Landspeeder, right from the start.
