Art Deco Keepsake Guilloche Enamel with the old Penn State Seal.\"Pennsylvania State College\" Necklace. Hello and welcome! I\'m so thrilled to offer this RARE Necklace / Neck Piece featuring a Centerpiece with the Old PENNSYLVANIA STATE COLLEGESeal which was the name that came before PENN STATE UNIVERSITY. (The name was changed to PENN STATE UNIVERSITY in 1953.) The Necklace is Art Deco (1920s) featuring gorgeous Green and Cream enamel stations accented by baguettes of Chrysoprase with elongated diamond shaped faceted tops. The drop focal point is the Sterling Silver Pennsylvania State College Seal. A Princess Square Shaped Chrysoprase gem dangles from the Seal like an exclamation point.
It closes well with an antique thumb/spring ringclasp. A fantastic find! Markings: STERLING on the back of the Seal
The metal on the necklace is not marked and has some tarnishing. Measurements: 15.5\" Long
(an extender could be added for a longer length if desired) This Necklace is very collectible, beautifully preserved and ready to be treasured and enjoyed.
