I absolutely cannot imagine the time it must have taken to create all the little puffy pinwheels and sew them all together...I guess during the depression it was a blessing to have something to be productive with. This was in a smoke-free home, has no odors and I cannot see any damage or stains. It is a large piece measuring 112\" x 100 inches and I guess it would fit either a queen hanging low near towards the floor, or a king. Very beautiful to see in person.
