Stunning & Large Mimbres Bowl With Rare Ancient Repair.:

This is a stunning and large Mimbres bowl with a rare ancient repair. The brush work is very refined, as fitting for a discriminating collector.

The bowl was once in a prominent Hawaii Collection. It has resided in my personal collection for about 20-years.

It is a large bowl at almost 11” in width (10-3/4”) and roughly 5-1/2” tall. Although the cracks are repaired in the bowl’s field, the reverse clearly displays the repair lines.

I am listing two other ancient pieces this week—another Mimbres bowl with a remaining kill hole, and a sweet Anasazi pitcher.
