We got these at an estate sale, and they are still in EXCELLENT CONDITION for their age. There are NO Cracks, Chips, Breaks or Crazing. They do have some light scratches from utensils, but nothing very noticeable. There are also a couple of rough areas, but they seem to be under the glaze. And some of the gold coloring is rubbing off along the edges. They have been in storage and will need to be washed before using.
In this LOT, you will receive:
(A) 1 PLATE This Plate is Approximately: 7 1/8\" Diameter
(B) 3 PLATES These Plates are Approximately: 8 3/4\" Diameter
(C) 1 PLATTER This Platter is Approximately: 15 3/4\" Long x 12 1/2\" Wide.
As noted above, some of the gold coloring along the edges is wearing off on all of the pieces in areas, and there are a couple rough areas that are all under the glazing.
On the Bottom of the 4 Plates, there are two different markings, they consist of a maroon colored bell which has: \"LIMOGES, T.V., No 7660\", and also in dark green it has: \"T & V, LIMOGES, FRANCE, and a 4-digit number that is cut off\".
On the Bottom of the Platter, there are also two different markings, they consist of a maroon colored bell which has: \"DECOR PAR, LIMOGES, POUR, WRIGHT CYNDAK & VAN RODEN, PHILADELPHIA\", and also in dark green it has: \"T & V, LIMOGES, FRANCE\".
These pieces would be a great addition to your set.
