WOW. I just obtained a gigantic personal collection of Magic DVDs from a magician who has accumulated them over 2+ decades. And I already had bought a big wholesale close-out of DVDs from my supplier. So, I am up to my knees in DVDs! Literally! I need to find good homes for all the DVD\'s in this collection, so I will be listing them with little or no description.

But check out the photos of the DVD case blurbs, and do a little research online for price and content, and you can get some great deals on these DVDs. I have quickly checked that they load and play, but can\'t take the time to watch them all and give my opinion/review. (If I am familiar with the content or artist, I will say what I can.)

I am always surprised that Mark Leveridgeis not more widely known among the magic community, because he has put out an impressive amount of practical and commercial effects, both as marketed \"dealer\" items, and also on some excellent DVDs. His knowledge and creativity spans many different magic categories: close-up, mental magic, kidshow, etc.

On this EXCELLENT set of THREE dvd\'s, he performs and then teaches 28 routines -- a great variety of magic, covering coin stuff, mental tricks, and some card magic also. One DVD is focused on MONEY MAGIC, the second is ENVELOPE MAGIC, and the third is GENERAL MAGIC.

Highlights for me on each DVD are:

MONEY MAGIC -- a very deceptive bill switch which many may find easier than the Kozlowski $100 switch, and does not require the gimmick used in that one. A very effective Coin Box routine, and a funny routine that uses a card box as an ATM to produce money

ENVELOPE MAGIC -- a fooler version of the classic invisible deck using a completely different method, a neat version of the mystery card plot, where a chosen card ends up being the card that was previously sealed in an envelope. And also a cool treasure hunt effect, where the spectator makes all the moves, but ends up at the place the treasure is buried (on a map, not real treasure!) A lot of versions of this type of effect exist, but this is a very practical and effective one.

GENERAL MAGIC -- a fun prediction of a spectator\'s chosen holiday destination, and also on which airline she will fly to get there; a very practical and effective version of the Diary card trick that you will make up and use a lot; and a vanish of a your finger ring from your finger, while the spectator holds the end of that very finger! Finally, there is a very interesting use of an Okito box to predict which color chip a spectator will randomly (and freely) choose. very clever

Leveridge\'s performing persona seems a bit \"goofy\" in my opinion, and maybe this is a difference in UK vs. US sense of humor. It may be this sort of silly persona that keeps \"high-brow\" magicians from taking Leveridge\'s work as seriously as they should. Because the routines are excellent, and you do not need to be so goofy when you present it :-)

I see this set of DVDs selling for the great price of $25 from one very generous (or crazy) seller, so I will price it at that same crazy low price! :-)

CONDITION: previously owned, but in excellent condition. Authentic L&L product -- no bootlegs here...EVER!

Shipping costs hints:

USA ADDRESSES First DVD (singles) has postage of $4.15 But if you buy more that one, postage drops significantly on combined shipments. checkout should calculate about $1.30 for each additional single DVD. If you buy a number of DVDs I will refund excess, since shipping cost goes down to about 50 cents per additional DVD after you get 5 or more. Best to put a bunch in your cart, anduse the Request Total from Seller option, I will invoice you at the proper shipping cost.

NON - USA ADDRESSES -- shipping rate for one DVD is as posted. A second DVD pushes the package weight into \"2nd tier\" international postage. However, that 2nd tier postage can cover up to SEVEN DVD\'s in the package for the same rate as two. So if you need me to ship to a non-USA address, and you want more than one DVD, you may want to find seven you like!
