A charming pair of (2) antique Gien, France faience plates, early 19th century. Both feature white glazed ground with black center landscape scene and floral border; each scene of a specific Swiss city landmark. Measures approx. 8.25\"dia. In antique condition, displaying general light surface scratches/rubbing, glaze crazing, discolored areas, chips (most significant pictured), and at least one crack - see pictures. An impressed \"Gien\" (1927-1939) and number mark to both versos.
