THIS LISTING IS FOR A NICE PAIR OF VINTAGE (c 1970s) FRAMED & GLAZED, GAME BIRD PRINTS BY THE RENOWNED WILDLIFE ARTIST \'BASIL EDE\' ONE IS OF A GREY PARTRIDGE, THE OTHER IS A WOODCOCK WITH ITS CHICKS. THE PRINTS ARE MOUNTED WITHIN GILDED FINISH WOODEN FRAMES, AND ALSO HAVE BEVELLED EDGED RIGID CARD INNER MOUNTS. THE FRAMES MEASURE 29.5cm x 24.5cm, AND THE PRINTS THEMSELVES ARE 19.2cm x 14.2cm. THE PRINTS ARE WELL DETAILED, AND WOULD MAKE ATTRACTIVE DISPLAY PIECES, PARTICULARLY WELL SUITED TO PERHAPS THE HOME OF AN ORNITHOLOGIST, OR SOMEONE WITH AN INTEREST IN BRITISH WILDLIFE.
