This sale is for TWO approximately 4.5" x 7.5" ORIGINAL Titanic Covers. One is signed by Millvinia Dean, and the other is signed by her brother Bertram.
The first is signed by Miss Millvina Dean ~ “THE 1997 ROYAL FILM PERFORMANCE TITANIC in the presence of HIS ROYAL HIGHNESS THE PRINCE OF WALES” The Empire Cinema, Leicester Square, London ~ Tuesday 18th November 1997 .
It is stamped Royal Mail London WC 18 Nov ‘97. They’re also is an absolutely lovely stamp of HRH Queen Elizabeth ll and her dashing husband Prince Philip.
On the back, it has the CTBF logo, stamp, etc., and says in blue~ Personally autographed by Miss Millvina Dean, the youngest Titanic Survivor rescued from lifeboat No. 13 by the crew of RMS Carpathia on the 15th April, 1912.
Millvina was 2 months old when the Titanic sank.
The second cover ~ “MARITIME ENGLAND- 1982” - - R.M.S. TITANIC- - Out of No.44 North Dock steaming down Southampton Wateroff Netley 10th April 1912. - FIRST AND LAST VOYAGE-
It is stamped 70th anniversary maiden voyage, 10th April 1982 Southampton. There is a lovely blue and white postage stamp of HRH Queen Elizabeth ll.
It is personally signed B.V. Dean.
Mr B. V. Dean of Southampton. A titanic survivor. Rescued from lifeboat No.13 by the crew of “R.M.S. Carpathia” on the 15 April 1912.
NOTE: This cover is a LIMITED EDITION Certified No 0679 of 5000.
Both covers are in absolutely remarkable condition.
