Both bayonet and scabbard are genuine and used

Both the bayonet and scabbard are sold "as is". By purchasing this bayonet & scabbard, you acknowledge this.

Some of the the imperfections on the bayonet may include but are not limited to rust, dust, chipped/broken blade, markings on blade, bent/broken hilt, grip panels being too small, gaps on top and bottom of handle, tape residue, and loose screws. This is not a comprehensive list, these are just the most common imperfections.

Some of the imperfections on the scabbard may include but are not limited to being bent, a broken tip, discoloration, tape residue, rust, and dust. This is not a comprehensive list, these are just the most common imperfections.

I do send out the best looking ones out first.

The scabbard has 'M8A1' and 'PWH' marked on them

-The M8A1 scabbards were first introduced during WWII

-The 'PWH' stands for 'Pennsylvania Working Home'. This company took over production for the M8A1 scabbards during the mid-late 60s and many of these were sent out to foreign aid (Vietnam). These scabbards were made during that time.

The bayonet has 'US M7' and 'BOC' marked on them

-The M7 was first introduced in 1964

-The 'BOC' stands for Bauer Ordinance Co. BOC made the majority of the Vietnam War M7's
