US WW2 Korea CAPAC M1 Helmet Liner. Painted White W/ Sweatband, Nape, Chin Strap:

For sale here is a US WW2 or later M1 Helmet Liner. As you can see, the liner has been sanded and spray painted white at some point. The liner has the frontal grommet. The liner is marked Westinghouse 11 CAPAC 51 52 in the dome. The webbing is green and shows use, age, wear, and some minor tearing. The center tie has been replaced with a bread bag twist. The rear nape is the adjustable type and has some damage. The sweatband shows heavy wear and mildew. The chin strap is pulled extremely tight, and i have not messed with it, but it is holding. I think the buckle is aged black, but it might be green, i can\'t say for sure, so i am erring on the side of black. Overall a complete liner with some character.
