This is a vintage, rare, Ship's Plaque from the USS Constellation CVA-64. The plaque has the heavy attack carrier "CVA" designation from the 1960s/early 70s Vietnam period. It is a hand painted "plaster" plaque. It measures 12" H X 10" W X 1.5" D and shows some fading and minor wear as expected for its age. It's a great piece of history that a collector or an old shipmate would like to have for their personal collection. It is as a great reminder of their time on board during a perilous time.
