The picturesque miniatures of the Fedoskino school as well as Palekh, Holui and Mstiora are known all over the world. Fedoskino boxes are created by masters by hand, painted with thin white tassels, silver or mother-of-pearl and paints created according to an ancient recipe. The mineral dye is mixed with egg yolk, water and vinegar, obtaining bright, rich colors.

The picture shows a snow-covered house around which you can see a beautiful and picturesque winter landscape, and in the foreground a sleigh drawn by a horse rushing home to celebrate Christmas.

The drawing is made in the Fedoskino technique, very thin and professional, the composition is thought out to the smallest detail, the drawing and the sides are framed with a thin gold ornament. An important detail is that inside the box is neatly finished with red velvet, which gives the box a special charm.

This box was made in 2022 in Ukraine.
