Own a piece of music history with this ultra-rare Frank Sinatra vinyl record. With only 234 copies pressed, this is a true collector's item. This high-fidelity LP features the voices of Sammy Cahn, Lizette Sarnoff, Robert Sarnoff reading a letter from Lyndon B. Johnson, David Sarnoff, and of course, the legendary Frank Sinatra.Released in 1967, this record marks the 50th wedding anniversary of Lizette and David Sarnoff. The record label is RCA Victor, and the format is a 12" LP. The edition is a first pressing and a rarities edition with a limited number of copies. The vinyl is in excellent condition and has been graded as such. The sleeve has some minor wear but is still very good plus. This record is a must-have for any music lover, especially those who appreciate jazz, easy listening, and pop music from the 1950s and 1960s.
This is anULTRARAREcopy of the Lizette & David Sarnoff 50th wedding anniversary. The occasion was recorded and and pressed on the Victor Red Seal label and given to an exclusive list of 234 attendees (192 US attendees and 19 Overseas.) The record contains performances bySammy Cahnanda performance of "The gentleman is a champ" by Frank Sinatrawith only a piano to accompany him. Alternate lyrics were penned for the song and tailored to fit the wedded couple.This is one of the rarest of all Frank Sinatra related LPs.The record also includes speeches by LBJ and others.David Sarnoff was an RCA executive and was responsible for many important milestones on the label. This an incredible piece of history, and perfect for any Frank Sinatra, Jazz, or radio and recording enthusiast.this piece came as part of an extensive jazz collection we purchased.
