This VIBRANT cotton and silk 1890\'s log cabin quilt is all hand pieced and hand quilted, with wonderful rainbow colors and black velvet border and corner blocks.It measures 72\" X 72\" and is in good / fair condition, with fabric deterioration in some of the silks, mostly along fold lines on the back and in some of the black fabrics on the front.
There are straight line and grid designs quilted throughout at an even 8-10 stitches to the inch.
The back is a plaid silk fabric, the hand stitched binding is black velvet, and the batting is thin.
The GRAPHIC DESIGN and GREAT COLORS make this 19th century COLLECTOR\'S QUILT stand out -- a WORK OF ART!
