We are offering a Victorian Trade Card Scrapbook (9 1/2" x 11 3/4"). The cover, which we believe is celluloid, has an embossed chromolithograph of a little girl - signed "O.T. Kendrick". (When you run your fingers over it, you can feel the raised embossing of the folds in her head scarf, the waves in her hair, and especially of the ruffles in her lace dress. Surrounding this is a raised border in red velvet.
**NOTE** - There are 71 TRADE CARDS out of a total of 227 cards.Besides trade cards, there are many holiday cards, calling cards, and some rewards of merit. There are also lovely lithographs of different subjects - birds, autumn & winter scenes, flowers, and some humorous cards depicting children with animals. There are also Victorian ladies in different activities - a woman painting a picture on an easel in the park; a mother wheeling her baby in a carriage; a young lady rowing a boat in a lake, etc. **CONDITION** - Cards are in Very Good/Excellent Condition. The scrapbook, itself, shows some wear (see image). The first 3 pages have some edge-chipping, all else are good.
