Hi, This sale is for a fabulous pair of antique condition linen fabric guest towels that have expert embroidery work. The hems are scalloped and bound with hand embroidery. The scallops line up perfectly when ironed in thirds. A beautiful fleur de leis design with vines and raised embroidered fruits decorate the middle. On each side of the fleur de leis is hand bound open work. Each measures 15” wide by 22” long. Very good preowned condition: no holes, nice heavy sturdy cotton, one small spot on the hem of one and one tiny area of pin point spots on the other. Consistent of linens of this age. Freshly laundered, pressed, and ready for use. The pair came from an estate sale here in North East Ohio. The photos should show you the rest of the details.
