FYI: The last day of service for the "Blue Bird" was April 30, 1971.PC FROM THE CURT TEICH CO ARCHIVES. MINT. This postcard is in pristine condition, direct from the archives of the publisher. It has been in our possession for approximately 15+ years ... long before the Curteich digitally archived images found their permanent home with The Newberry Institute. At the time of our acquisition, the Lake County Discovery Museum in IL was the custodian of the company's records, having served in that capacity since 1982. As to our "standard operating procedures": Our normal shipping & handling time is three (3) days. We ship weekdays with the exception of US federal holidays. We will ship with either free shipping or calculated shipping ... it depends on the given scenario. Often, calculated shipping will include insurance - again, depending on the item. Payment is expected at time of purchase or close of sale, whichever is applicable. This also applies to "best offer accepted" transactions. Non-paying purchasers or buyers will be blocked from future transactions. The same goes for winning buyers seeking to have sales cancelled. That said, prior to the end of any sales, offers can be cancelled through the HELP section of .
