This listing is for a vintage Plymouth automobile / car trunk emblem or ornament. When I first bought it, I THOUGHT it was a hood or grille ornament. Then I got online and found out that it was made for the TRUNK of 1946, 1947 & 1948 year model Plymouth Sedans. I think there was a light under the red lens that lit up when the brakes were used? The BACK is embossed, \"SEDAN...1148894...CB - 13539.\" It measures 16 inches long, by 6 & 1/8 inches wide, in the center. I would call the condition GOOD. There is some PITTING TO THE CHROME. There is a small CHIP (about the size of a match head) on one tip. The paint is worn off the impressed letters that spell \"PLYMOUTH\" on the front. No chips or cracks to the red lens cover. It displays very nicely, and is guaranteed to be old & original, or your money back.I am here to help you with any questions!
