Vintage Alexander Mechanical Advertising Pencil circa the 1970's.
The pencil is made in the USA - Marked on the clip.
The pencil is 4-1/2 inches in length.
The barrel and cap of the pencil are made from celluloid and is bright red in color.
The pencil tip, barrel ring and clip are made from metal and are chrome tone.
The clip is marked Alexander and Made in USA.
The advertising is silk screened on the side of the pencil in gold as follows:Plain Grain Co."Fair Dealers"Ph. 346-8504 Burlington, Colo.Jim Rawson - Mgr.
The pencil has a small amount of lead in it. A new eraser may be required.
The pencil has been cleaned and polished.
