VINTAGE AUTHENTIC BUSHMAN ARROW QUIVER with One Barbed Arrow & Heavy Spearhead.:

Antique African Wood Quiver contains a single arrow with eight barbs and worn feather flight. One heavy steel spear head.

Quiver is made out of wood. The wrappings and straps are leather and senew with form fitting cap.

The shoulder strap is a strip of leather.

Quiver and Arrow measure 22” long

Spear Head measures 9”

This set is meant for a stealthy kind of ambush hunting - employing more of a bow and dart approach than a bow and arrow. The poison head of the arrow are meant to break off at a joint in the arrow and stick in the animal's hide so the hunter can track the game until it passes out or is killed by the poison on the metal arrow tip. The poison negates a need for long and accuurate bow and arrow hunting. This set was made to be used and is not a tourist wallhanger item. It is an authentic Bushman weapon.
