Excellent condition no chips cracks or crazing no scratching. The small bowl and the mug I\'ve had and there are other stark pottery with a similar signature and look for example Agnes Stark in fact I found 3 other artists named stark with a similar signature. I live in Colorado and the mug is for sure the right Stark and I think the others are too. \"Peter and Susan Stark have been making functional pottery in Longmont for over 20 years. The pots that they make are white stoneware, which is covered with a white opaque glaze and decorated with colorful imagery. The Stark\'s make functional pots because they like that the art they make to insinuates itself into other peoples’ everyday lives.Peter makes the pottery and Susan decorates it. Peter likes his pots to appear animated and to impart a sense of volume or fullness. He throws most of the forms on the pottery wheel and then manipulates them off and on the wheel to achieve the shapes that he desires. Peter is influenced by Japanese, British and Korean pottery.\"
