This item is a vintage Dexter 6 hole pencil sharpener. It is in working condition and sharpened pencils easily for me. The sharpener has a wood handle. It appears to be in very good used condition. There are a few small cracks in the celluloid translucent material. There is a small paint chip at the base of the shavings reservoir. Please carefully look at the pictures to assist you with determining the condition. The last patent per the patented info on the celluloid is 1921. The sharpener can be mounted using screws. The base is about 3 1/4 inches wide. Height about 4 1/2 inches.
