This Royal Doulton Toby Jug Mug features Mr. Pickwick, a beloved character from Charles Dickens\' novel \"The Pickwick Papers\".
Designed in 1930s by Leslie Harradine and Henry Fenton.

Weighs 1 pound 5 oz - hefty for the size!

This mug has a different facial expression than many of the Mr. Pickwick mugs. The other version, he is smiling and his teeth show. This Mr. Pickwick appears older than the other also - more/deeper facial lines and wrinkles.

The handle comes off the back side rather than straight off back or straight off side, but at a 45-degree angle.

Like New - no dulling, scratches, fading, scritches, crazing - has always been displayed behind glass or kept boxed in heated ask any questions BEFORE offer or purchase.
