Offered here is an ORIGINAL PAINTING. It is NOT a print, it is a ONE-OF-A-KIND, HANDMADE PAINTING. I just purchased this at an antique store in Oklahoma, and I\'m sorry to say that I don\'t know anything about its history. I \"THINK\" it is tempera, or gouache, (both are water based paints more opaque than watercolor) on sturdy paper board. It pictures a group or \"roughnecks\" or oil field workers, gathered around Halliburton oil field equipment. (Each of the workers is wearing a Halliburton jumpsuit or coveralls.) I\'m NOT SURE, but I think this artwork \"MAY\" have been commissioned by someone at Halliburton Oil Services Corporation. The signature in the bottom / right corner appears to be, \"Galloway.\" (See the close-up, and decide the name for yourself.) I\'m not sure WHEN this was painted, but the equipment has the old Halliburton logo from the 1950\'s and early 1960\'s. (The metal hard hats appear to be from that time period as well.) And I assume this was made around that time. I have searched online extensively, and could not find this image reproduced anywhere. It has been professionally double matted and framed under glass. The painted art area measures 12 by 15 inches. Add in the matt and frame, and the entire size is 17 & 1/4 by 20 & 1/4. Most of the above pictures show this out of the frame. The last two pictures show it UNDER GLASS, with the black metal frame, as it will be shipped. It is ready to hang. The buyer will own this painting, and the right to reproduce it, if so desired. This painting is guaranteed to be ORIGINAL, and NOT a print or reproduction of any kind, or your money beck.
