VTG Carved Horse Statue Figurine Hard Wood on Pine Base Hooves Rearing on Wheel DESCRIPTION: Offered is a vintage Hand-Carved horse with front end hooves up, rearing onto a pine wood wheel. It is a hard wood (Mahogany? African Blackwood? Walnut?) figurine or statue on a Pine wood base and wheel mount. It depicts a rearing horse with fine detail on mane and tail as well as open mouth bearing teeth. Unmarked, no tag, unsigned. SEE CONDITION BELOW. MEASUREMENT:Roughly 18\" tall with base. Base is 15\" X 6\" kidney shape. CONDITION: Very impressive carving with a flaw on right ear (tip broke from drying at grain) but not noticeable unless pointed out (full disclosure). A very clever artist or crafty person could sand the other ear to the same size, or just let it be. See first few pics where it is not discernable, and then the close up. Priced accordingly.
