This is a listing for a NOS (new old stock) piece that is vintage dime store stock. When a retail business goes out of business, at least in the 1950s, the stock would often be stored away, and then reappear much later. That is the case for this fun \"Happy Birthday\" banner. It is made from a nice cardboard, with a fun birthday cake in the center. It was made in Japan, and is in wonderful, minty condition. There is no damage to the banner or the cardboard header. The letters measure about 4.5\" long. The opened one in the picture is one I opened to keep for my Granddaughter\'s Birthday (she\'s 16, and really into old stuff). It is the \"old\" Halloween colors of dark red and dark green. It won\'t disappoint. It is also called IOP - in original package.
