VTG Japanese Kutani Jurojin Porcelain Figurines, The Old Couple from Takasago:

Size & weight approximations:

1) Old Woman Uba: 10 7/8 inches tall x 5 5/8 inches wide x 4 inches deep; 2 pounds, 5.6 ounces.

2) Old Man Jo: 12 1/2 inches tall x 7 inches wide x 4 1/2 inches deep; 2 pounds, 15.5 ounces.

Condition: no cracks, chips or repair as pictured. The unglazed parts of the bisque porcelain including most of the heads and heads have age-related wear and tear such as discoloration, crazing and other minor imperfections as pictured. Both are missing their tools (rake and broom) as pictured. Both are marked on the bottom as pictured. In consideration of any purchase it is recommended that the zoom tool be used to thoroughly inspect all the photos. Sold as preowned and as pictured.

2) item is broken/ damaged in transit. Items damaged during transit will be refunded upon timely notification (maximum 7 days from tracked delivery of the item) and receipt of photographic evidence of damage, including photos of the packing. Buyer agrees to keep the damaged item and packing for at least 14 days and present it to a local carrier’s office if requested to aid in the processing of an insurance claim. Fees may apply.
