This is a beautiful hand-carved dark wood (possibly Mahogany) wings-spread, soaring Eagle sculpture on a tall wood pole and natural wood base. The eagle is easily removed from the pole, although it is not broken, it simply sits on the pole and base for display purposes. The hand-carved head and wings were extremely well-crafted, and I'm thinking this is an eagle, but because it is a bit abstract in design, it could be a different bird! This is quite striking and displays beautifully. His wing span and length is 14", and he is 8.25" height with the wood pole and base. Very well-crafted! Great vintage condition, only a few very minor surface marks on the wood which can most-likely be polished and buffed off.
