This large green and opal satin glass Victorian era Jack in the Pulpit (JIP) vase was most likely made in Bohemia during the 1890s. These were usually found within the pages of Butler Bros. catalogs. The vase stands 11-3/8" (28.9 cm) tall and measures approximately 8-1/2" (21.6 cm) across the top. The bulb portion is about 4-1/2" (11.4 cm) in diameter. The piece is in excellent condition without chips, flea bites, scratches, or staining. The pontil scar is rough. The label appears to us to be an old dealer's sticker and not anything associated with the producer.This requires a box that results in dimensional shipping rates.
