Viet Cong Mainforce Uniform ~ 1967 ~:

This is a VC Mainforce uniform captured in western Tay Ninh in 1967. The uniform is a cotton reed green enlisted type. The shirt has two flapped chest pockets with button cuffs and a four button front plaquet. There are several hand stitched field repairs to the back of the shirt. The slightly mismatched trousers have two side slash pockets, one inward hanging right rear pocket with button loop closure and both leg cuffs have button loop closures. There is an issue corfram belt with roller buckle and keeper for the trousers. Both shirt and trousers show moderate jungle wear with repairs to the shirt and some very small holes to the trousers. I will provide the buyer with the vets name and unit that captured this uniform and brought it back.
