The durable, all metal construction of this awesome shield is evident in the reinforced plates along all the edges, which are riveted into place. The front of the shield is finished with a durable enamel coating that shows of the holy cross in red. The back is painted in black to reduce glare, and it features a left-hand grip and arm strap, as well as a hanging chain for display. This item is great for a veriety of medieval knight cosplay and reenactment purposes.
