Vintage Bianchi 14.75" Statue by Gino Ruggeri SACRED HEART OF MARY The material is probably not alabaster, but made to look like it. Resin?!? Made in Italy **** ***** ***** ***** Used, in very good condition. No damages. Delicately sculpted and replicated. Made to look like the alabaster original, but I believe it is resin. Nice weight to it. Displayed with years of dust on it. May clean up better, but I probably would just leave the stains alone. Measures 14.75" including base. Without base, statue portion is about 13.5". Weights 3 lb. 12.2 oz. entirely. (base does not detach) **** ***** ***** ***** I did a thorough search online, but I cannot find another comparable one sold, or for sale anywhere. This one is marked G.R., made by Bianchi in Italy. Not recent clones made in China. Sculpture is done by renowned Italian sculptor, Gino Ruggeri, as signed on the bottom of statue.
