Description:Vintage Handmade 18K Rosy Yellow Gold and Enamel Double-Sided Islamic Allah Box Locket with Book

The exact date of this locket is unknown, it is difficult to determine for sure. It looks very old but for accuracy purposes, I am dating it to mid-century

Box style, it is large and roomy. One side adorned with Allah symbol within ornate frame. The other side is a pierced (see through) rectangular panel with round ornament as often found on Quran (Koran) covers

Inside reveals a small book, assuming of prayers from Quran. This book appears to be hand cut by someone to make it fit inside the locket

Locket suspends on beautiful bail ornamented with flowers

Locket snaps closed and lock works great

Condition:Great overall condition. Enamel has some wear but it is not very apparent and does not destruct from the beauty of this locket. Light surface wear to the gold and light patina.As can be seen in photos, book is worn out and somewhat falling apart. Since it was cut to make fit into the locket, the edges are uneven
