Vintage 1910s U.S. Mail Post Office Box Project Drawer Double Wide Brass Large:

Here’s your chance to own a piece of history! U.S. mail post office box, as pictured. I think it’s 1900-1910s, but I’m not the original owner ;-)

It’s box number 1, with a drawer pull and two openings, one heavy plate that I think is original, but no longer attached. The mechanism is stiff but parts do move, but you’d have to put some work in if you wanted it to latch again—I’m not a professional, either. Happy to answer questions but please ask before you offer.
