Vintage 1920s Justrite Caroffere Miners Mining Lantern Lamp - Brass/Copper Color - Empty - Made in USA - Looks like it is dated: Dec 30, 1919 when Patent IssuedThis is a vintage Justrite caroffere miners lantern lamp that features a dated patent issued on December 30, 1919 on its bottom. It has the classic design with a water reservoir on top, a caroffere chamber at the bottom, and a reflector for directing the light.This Justrite lantern is a piece of mining history and would make an excellent addition to any collection of vintage mining equipment or antique lighting devices.Key Specifications:

Type: Caroffere Miners Lantern LampAppears to be designed to be worn on the helmet or belt. Approx. Dimensions: 4" T x 2-1/8" W x 3-1/8" D w/2-1/2" ReflectorSold as is. No warranty from the seller. No Returns.CONDITION NOTE: Used, but in Good condition overall for its age. Not tested. The lantern has various nicks, dents, scratches with some surface corrosion (on the reflector) and dust/dirt (see pictures). The unit could not be unscrewed to see inside the container, and I did not want to force it. The back of the unit appears to have some soldered repairs to the handle made long ago (see pictures). The reflector rotates freely since the screw can't be tightened down any further. Does not include the original box and does not include any user documentation.
