1950s Consul Portable Typewriter
This typewriter was produced by the Consul company in Czechoslovakia in the 1950s, boasting some nice features like keyboard tab settings, variable line spacing, lever-set margins, and bichrome ribbon settings. It has been cleaned, serviced, and provided a new ribbon so be used immediately upon arrival. Despite the rubber platen and feed rollers being original, they are quite supple, enabling a nice, crisp typeface.
This typewriter is ready to be used, and I have a great deal of experience in shipping typewriters. This would make a wonderful gift to a writer, analog enthusiast, typewriter collector, or anyone else looking to use a vintage typewriter
