This is a beautiful piece of Japanese sculpture art from the 1960s. This porcelain statue of Quan Yin, the Goddess of Mercy and Compassion, is depicted standing above a lotus flower. The Geisha subject and white color make it a unique piece for any collector of decorative objects. The item measures 8.25 inches in height and 2.75 inches in width. The hand on bottom has a slight chip to the fingers but I honestly didn\'t even notice it at first. Also, the lotus flower seems to be separating from the base but it\'s not loose or wobbly and I don\'t think it will break off unless really pulled on, or perhaps under extreme temperatures. Really a cool, a pretty figurine!
