The piggy bank is pre-owned, but in good condition for being as old as it is.It is battery operated, and it does work. The orange circle works as a button to turn it on. It has to be pressed down firmly to turn it on. I have provided a video of what it does. Please make sure to review everything before making a purchase.There is some rust in the battery compartment. I cleaned it out as well as I could, I don\'t want to damage the springs so I\'m going to leave it as is. I tried to make sure that the images show the condition of the battery compartment.I also cleaned the outside as well as I could. I apologize in advance if I missed any minor dust, I don\'t want to damage the electronics with water.I don\'t know what the colors looked like originally, so I\'m not sure if there is any discoloration on any of the figures, it doesn\'t look like it.There may be some minor scuffs and superficial marks from normal used, but I didn\'t notice anything major, that needed to be pointed out separately besides what I have already mentioned.I tried to provide as many detailed pictures as I could, but if you would like to see something else that I didn\'t provide please email me.Please make sure to look through all of the pictures andread the description and if any details are missing, please, please email me with any questions.
