ENCASED MEDAL MEASURES 3" IN DIAMETER,
TOTAL WEIGHT OF 630.0 GRAMS OR 20.2 TROY OUNCESShows wear due to storage and handling over the years, including light surface scuff marks, scratches, light crazing of the Lucite due to aging, and a few minor chips in a couple of the corners. It has nice shine, is very clean, has nice clarity and is not cloudy, has no cracks or major chips, has no personal monograms or engravings, with no major issues at all. No box, no paperwork, no original accessories are included.
Front is etched and reads CELEBRATING THE ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE WEILL CORNELL MEDICAL COLLEGE IN QATAR APRIL 9, 2001. Encased is a medal that features the school crest on the front, while the reverse has text in Farsi and reads QATAR FOUNDATION. Medal is not hallmarked by a maker or with a metal purity, and the exterior is not maker marked, either.
