Vintage 3” Donkey Ceramic Kitsch Pottery Mule Figurines Lot Set Of 2 Japan? USA?:

They each have crazing to the glaze all over.

Some imperfections including: Specks in the glaze and a small dark spot/speck on the top one ear with no glaze, it may be a tiny chip or “as made”. The base has a few uneven areas, one may be a chip, but the rest look like they are from the molding process. Please see last 3 photos and use zoom to best assess.

The details are hand-painted in brown. These small creatures have fun painted eyelashes and appear to be a little shy.

I see quite a few of these listed as Rio Hondo, I was unable to confirm with online research. Could be made in Japan or USA.

Each measures approximately 3” tall and just over 1.5” across the base. They weigh 3.2 oz. together.
