This is a beautiful vintage coverlet made of a heavy-weight, barkcloth-style upholstery fabric featuring a print of delicate fronds of tropical foliage on an off-white ground. The piece is made of two panels with a lapped, center seam showing expert pattern matching. It could be used as a coverlet or repurposed as curtain panels, pillows, table runner, etc. It is in great vintage condition with only minor wear consistent with its age and use; I detected one faint spot (pictured) that does very little to detract from this textile’s beauty. It measures approximately 87”x88”. It is hemmed on four sides with a 1.5” hem and a .5” hem on the fourth side.
