Vintage Telechron Dr. Pepper Advertising Wall Clock This clock was carefully removed from an old store building ( 1883 ) by me about 45 years ago The store closed about 1965 and I was able to enter the building in 1978 or 79 It was still hanging on the back bar of a \" makeshift \" soda fountain I did plug it in lately and the motor did run The time adjustment knob did work long ago but now seems stuck I did not want to force it or disassemble the clock ( and possibly break something ) so that\'s how you will receive it There is some wear and paint loss on the clock hands The three things you need to know about this clock 1. There is a small scratch on the original curved glass cover Normally I would buff out the scratch with Cerium Oxide , but I didn\'t want to open the clock 2. Obviously the original cord was changed long before I received it ( it looks like a late \'50s or early \'60s addition ) 3 . The original green color of the clock case was repainted at some time long before me - the good news is I checked the paint ( small area on top with denatured alcohol and it did start to loosen up so it is only easy to remove water base paint Yay ! ) this clock is in otherwise nice condition and the face is not heavily faded or missing parts like several others Oh , please ignore the shadows on the glass in some of the photos it\'s just a skylight or light fixture reflection The overall diameter of this clock is approximately 14 1/2\" Study the photos to see if this item can work for you This is a Genuine Vintage Dr. Pepper Advertising Clock and NOT a reproduction or fantasy piece What a great addition for your collection to buy and enjoy SEE PHOTOS for details and ask questions for more information I have owned it for a long time , now it\'s time for a new caretaker - It could be YOU !
