THIS IS AN ORIGINAL TAIL RUDDER FROM A 1946 LUSCOMBE SILVAIRE 8-A AIRPLANE. THIS HAS THE ORIGINAL RIGHT AND LEFT LUSCOMBE ALUMINUM EMBLEMS STATING ITS DALLAS TEXAS MANUFACTURING ORIGIN, THE ORIGINAL TAIL NUMBERS OF N-45563 ARE STILL VISABLE AND THESE PARTICULAR NUMBERS HAVE NOT BEEN ASSOCIATED WITH THIS AIRCRAFT SINCE 1975.THIS HAS HAD ALUMINUM FLANGES MADE SO THIS COULD BE WALL MOUNTED LIKE A FLANGE SIGN. THIS IS JUST OVER 3\" TALL AND DOESN\'T WEIGH MUCH. THIS WAS FOUND STUFFED AWAY AT AN ESTATE IN AN OLD SHED. THE ORIGINAL ELDERLY OWNER IS NO LONGER AROUND TO SEEK INFORMATION FROM.
