This is an exquisite carved Chinese vase or urn. It has various scenes with Chinese soldiers in a castle and on the other side there are villagers around a bridge under a tree. The vase has elephant head handles. The bottom section of the vase is black and there are Chinese characters just inside the rim. There are more characters on the bottom which I assume is the artist. This piece is in excellent vintage condition. It is about 12\" tall, 5\" wide and 4\" deep. Please see all the photos for details.
