HELLO FELLOW ERS:You are offerding on 1 Vintage Christmas VERY RARE Coconut Putz House. This famous house is known as \"The Tenth Avenue Angel\" house because it shows up in the ending scene of this 1948 movie. You can see it sitting on top a desk sitting under the Christmas Tree. This movie featured the actress, Margaret O’Brien.This is from early mid 1930\'s, \"Made in Japan\". The set that this house came out of featured another 7 houses (See picture. These are not included in this sale).The COCONUT style of house got it’s name because the material that covers the house and base looks like shredded Coconut.This house also features 5 Porthole Windows. This House measures 7-1/8\" wide x 3-7/8\" deep x 5-1/2\" tall. The light hole is a whopping1-7/8\" in diameter. The doors and windows are all intact but have cracks in the celluloid due to the brittleness and age of the material. The COCONUT is in BeautifulCondition. There are a few minor issues, there is a hole in the back, under the light hole that looks like someone wired this in the past. Also, a past owner wanted the dormer window to light up so they cut a hole in the inner roof so the light could light up the upper windows. It doesn\'t hurt anything, in fact it helps to illuminate the main feature of this house. The colors are bright and vivid. The fantastic condition of this house will lend itself well to your Christmas Putz Scene. This house has been cataloged and has it’s own pages in the Putz House Collector’s Guide.
