Up for sale is Batman #239! This vintage Bronze-Age comic book was published by DC Comics in February 1972! It is the original first printing of this giant-size issue featuring a classic Christmas cover by Neal Adams! The issue features Batman and Robin in “Silent Night, Deadly Night!” by Denny O’Neil with artwork by Irv Novick and Dick Giordano, “The Loneliest Men in the World!” by Don C. Cameron with artwork by Bob Kane and Jerry Robinson, and “Soul-Pit!” by Mike Friedrich with artwork by Rich Buckler and Dick Giordano! As shown in the photos, the comic book is a reader/filler copy with split and detached cover, name on its front, and other cover wear. The comic book is incomplete… it’s missing the first wrap (affecting the first story only) and has its two centerfold wraps detached inside. It has generally clean pages with no writing, but there is some light creasing and possibly a few small edge tears. This vintage Batman comic book would make a nice addition to your collection!
