For sale are these two unique and rare Vintage Egyptian Copper Plates. Both are Copper itched.
The first is handmade, no markings or label on plate. In the Center is an egyptian ship. Circling the ship are gods/goddess/kings/queens/ etc. Scarab surround the faces and Isis along the edge of the plate. Very detailed and beautifully made. Some wear on item. 8 oz and weight is 5 oz.One is of the Goddess Isis. is Egypt Air handmade by Magdy. Weight 5 oz, 8 inches round. There is some imperfections/dark spots. (see pictures)The pieces belonged to my parents who owned a business in the late 80s through early 2000s. The business sold A LOT of ancient egyptian merchandise, in addition to collecting for themselves. My father was a scholar of Egyptology. This piece is part of their personal collection. Whether or not he bought it used, I am not sure.
The pieces do have some wear (see pictures).
