Vintage enamel travel pin from France.
This was part of my Aunt\'s lifelong jewelry collection.She purchased this when she traveled to Alsace, France back in the late 1940\'s or early 1950\'s. Many of the people there spoke German and she found this in a souvenir shop there. Her collection is gigantic and I cannot possibly keep or wear them all and there are so many beauties.I would love for all of her jewelry to be worn and enjoyed by someone again.
This is an enamel is set on an ornate silver tone backing.Enamel shield says Frankreich which is German for French Republic.It was made for German speaking tourists who especially loved that area of France. It measures 7/8\" long x 3/4\" wide. A superb vintage travel pin. C clasp.A great piece in good vintage condition.
