Here’s a nicely crafted compact GBD Apple. About 5 1/2” long, bowl is 1 1/2” tall, 1 3/8” wide. ID 3/4”, depth 1 1/4”. Marked on one side of shank GBD in oval/ INTERNATIONAL, other side LONDON ENGLAND/ 3111. A gold GBD medallion inlaid on side of bit. No other marks detected.

Bit is well-seated push fit, no filter, cleaned and polished, showing some bite wear but no holes through. Stummel is dark chocolate colored, flame grain, some handling wear, dings and scratches, clean rim with some front inside edge wear, clean bowl. Old briar is the best briar!
